SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Neighborhood

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions on the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering companies such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it truly is alarmed in regards to the higher variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your superior range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office focused on service the area each day. The support stage produced for intervention experiences a higher inflow of potential beneficiaries, that makes it difficult for the Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more assets to allow the servicing of all clients and maximize use of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
